Alter Ego

English:

An organization known as LIFE rules the world through its advanced technologies, keeping people trapped in its virtual reality, SOV.

A man named Yael awakens after being trapped for months in the entirely parallel virtual reality, SOV. Upon awakening, he realizes that the world has been devastated by a nuclear war and is rescued by a guerrilla group known as the Animals.

It falls upon Yael to uncover why they wear animal masks, discover his Alter Ego, unravel the mysteries of that time, and choose whether to stand with or against the Animals, to either destroy LIFE or not, and to save humanity from deactivation or not.

Yael, um homem que esteve cativo nesse mundo virtual paralelo por meses, finalmente desperta. No entanto, ao abrir os olhos, ele depara com um cenário desolador: o planeta devastado por uma guerra nuclear. Sua libertação se dá nas mãos de uma resistência conhecida como "Animals," cujos membros usam máscaras de animais como um símbolo de identidade.

Agora, Yael se vê diante de uma decisão crucial: desvendar o mistério por trás das máscaras, explorar seu Alter Ego e desenterrar os segredos daquele tempo sombrio. Ele deve optar por se unir ou opor-se aos Animals, determinar se deve ou não confrontar a onipotente LIFE e, por fim, decidir se a humanidade será resgatada da ameaça de extinção ou não.

PS 1: the older versions ( v0 and v1) have many bugs and are here to show how the game was at 2022 and 2023.

The game was made originaly for Renpy Engine at june 2022. But, i decided to reconstruct the entire game at Unity Engine, so, from the version v1 the game has the Unity as engine.
 

PS 2: the version v3.3.1 only works at:

-Portuguese language

-HD resolution! (please, configure before starts the game)!

PS 3: we are working at new version, called definitive edition of Alter Ego. We are transforming the game for the 3D World, using the source code from Sinfonia Del Inferno and rebuilding the entire world at 2.5D game. As we are focus on Decomposition, we can't say when this version goona be publish, but, sure will be a  paid steam game!
